This excellent Cruiser fills your needs for coastal and offshore sailing. Originally launched in the Great Lakes and having sailed offshore it now cruises on the coast of British Columbia.
Fitted with a Stainless Steel framed Dodger and Stainless Steel full Cockpit Bimini enclosure she's ready for all season sailing in coastal waters.
The Kirie Elite 37 is a moderate displacement, round bilge, moulded GPR sailing sloop with a raked stem, fin keel and a moderate reverse transom stern.
Designed by Ron Holland this model was built in France from 1981 to 1987 and have proved to be a very well designed cruiser for offshore sailing.

The quality of construction used through out the boat represents a building quality at the better end of the boat production range.

A flush foredeck runs aft to a low profile cabin tank. There is an escape hatch on the foredeck above the V-berth.
Windows and opening hatches on the cabin trunk provide good lighting below while maintaining a strong deck structure.
The main hatch access to the cabin slides.
Side decks are wide, with rigging shrouds and Genoa tracks set well inboard for easy passage.
The anchor locker is self draining and offers room for the 12v windlass and self stowing 250' 38"chain. The Danforth CQR anchor is stowed on twin bow rollers.
There are two spare anchors stowed in aft lockers.
The Aluminum mast is keel stepped and supported by stainless steel wire rigging.
The vessel is rigged as a masthead sloop
Lewmar/Barbarossa winches are fitting in the cockpit with addition winches on either side of the companionway for reefing, main sheet, traveler, outtake and genoa furling.
The mainsail is stowed on the boom and fitted with slab reef system.
The forestay is fitted with a Profurl roller furling.
The spacious cockpit has a pedestal mounted steering wheel and is self drawing.
The cockpit lockers are well secured and include an aft vented propane locker.

The Volvo pent D2003 diesel engine is fresh water cooled and fuel is supplied fram a Stainless Steel 21 Gallon tank located under the navigation seat in the cabin.
Fuel is filtered thru a Racor filter with a separate system for the Esbar cabin heating system.

The electrical system is controlled thru switch panels adjacent to the navigation table.
There are 2 x Trojan 6v house batteries and 1 x 12v for the starter controlled with an isolation switch.
Charging is with the engine alternator and twin 68watt/4.5 amp solar panels.
A Heart Interface battery monitor and RC battery charge selector/protector are also fitted.
Shore power is controlled thru a Blue Seas 120v/30amp Panel, GFCI protection, and ZincSaver galvanic isolator protection.

Below decks there is a V-brerth forward. The toilet and shower are to the starboard with a hanging locker to port.
In the main cabin, there is dinette to port that converts to a double berth and a settee berth to starboard.
The galley 2 burner propane Force 10 range, sink with pressurized hot/cold water and Cold Machine fridge/icebox are located aft with a navigation station opposite.
Separated double quarter berth cabins are located port and starboard.
Engine access is beneath the cockpit steps and thru removable panels in the aft berth cabins.

The marine toilet has a compliant 20 gallon holding tank with deck fitting for pump out.

Cabin heat is provided by an Esbar Diesel heated and forced air thru three vents.
